For nearly two decades, the N.C. Prep Football News Yearbook has helped kick off the high school gridiron season. I remember reading copies at my first job as sports editor of The Wake Weekly back in the mid-1990s.

New football magazine coming soon!

Coming this summer/fall – The first full glossy magazine dedicated to high school football around the Yadkin Valley. We plan to publish two issues in 2010 – a preseason preview yearbook and a post-season wrap-up.

Starmount softball finishes stellar season

Starmount’s softball team didn’t win a game at Raleigh’s Walnut Creek complex over the weekend. But the Rams did collect some hardware before coming home.

Forbush duo named 2A all-state

The top two scorers on Forbush High’s state runner-up girls soccer team earned all-state status for Class 2A. Junior Jessica Baity and senior Leticia Patino were voted to the 2A team released by the N.C. Soccer Coaches Association last week.
