Teams march on in Sertoma football playoffs

North Wilkes has advanced to the Sertoma Super Bowl in the middle school (Midgets) division. The Jaquars earned their berth by beating East Wilkes 12-6 in the 1A division playoffs on Saturday.

North Wilkes will face either Ashe County or Central Wilkes in the Sertoma Midgets finale on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Wilkes Central. Ashe and Central are scheduled to play tonight (Monday) at 7 p.m. in the 2A division championship game.

Sertoma’s Junior Pee Wees (grades 3-4) and Pee Wees (grades 5-6) divisions held quarterfinal playoff games on Saturday. Scores from those games are below. Coaches and team parents are encouraged to submit playoff results or any corrections that need to be made to us by email (eric@yadkinvalleysports.com) or by posting them on our Facebook page. Photos from playoff games are welcome also. Please ID which team(s) are included in the photos and player or coach names where relevant.
