Forbush grad nets goal in NCSU scrimmage

RALEIGH — Former Forbush soccer standout Jessica Baity scored the game-winning goal in NC State’s Red-White intrasquad scrimmage on Friday night at the Dail Soccer Complex. Baity, a freshman for the Wolfpack, converted a pass from senior Tanya Cain into a score in the 63rd minute, hitting what GoPack.com described as a “blistering shot into the lower left corner” of the net.
